Getting removed from a Trust after being made redundant and firm not engaging

Good morning. I have recently been made redundant from my previous firm. They are not engaging with me, and I am a Trustee on a particularly challenging trust. I am currently unemployed and therefore also have no indemnity insurance in place.

Is there a way to get myself removed as a Trustee? There is land, so two trustees would be needed and I one of two at the moment. Also, if I am expected to continue as a Trustee, how do I ensure that any complaints/claims/actions are covered with insurance? This is all new to me, and I had expected my previous firm to be professional and have me removed but they are not responding to any of my correspondence.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Toni.

Toni, this forum is not used much anymore but if you want to send me an email I might be able to give you some pointers. The biggest question is, do you have the trust deed? Richard: richarddew@tenoldsquare.com
