Company property vested as bona vacantia

Is company property vested in the Crown as Bona Vacantia automatic after the relevant statutory period (without the need for the Crown to be registered on title) or are further sets required after the relevant statutory period for vesting to be effective?

This is an issue I have recently had to deal with. The Bona Vacantia Division website has plenty of helpful practical information which may assist you. https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/bona-vacantia-companies-guidelines

As a general rule company assets will pass to the Crown by operation of law when the company is dissolved, but the Crown will not usually take steps to be registered with title.
